Delete Platform Roles

This section explains how to delete platform roles.

You can delete platform roles created by users. Preset platform roles cannot be deleted.

Prerequisites

• You should have the Role Management permission on the KubeSphere platform. For more information, see Users and Platform Roles.

• If the platform role you want to delete has already been assigned to a user, you need to delete the user or modify their role.

Steps

1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Role Management permission.

2. Click Users and Roles.

3. Select Platform Roles from the left navigation pane.

4. Click on the right side of the platform role you want to delete, then choose Delete from the drop-down list.

5. In the Delete Role dialog, click OK.
