Basic usage
Setting the background blend mode
Use thebg-blend-{mode}
utilities to control how an element’s background image(s) should blend with its background color.

Applying conditionally
Hover, focus, and other states
Tailwind lets you conditionally apply utility classes in different states using variant modifiers. For example, usehover:bg-blend-darken
to only apply thebg-blend-darken
utility on hover.

Breakpoints and media queries
You can also use variant modifiers to target media queries like responsive breakpoints, dark mode, prefers-reduced-motion, and more. For example, usemd:bg-blend-darken
to apply thebg-blend-darken
utility at only medium screen sizes and above.
