URL Builder – Marketing Campaign Tracking

The URL Builder tool lets you generate URLs ready to use for Tracking Campaigns in Matomo. See the documentation about Campaign Tracking for more information.

Step 1: Fill in the fields below. Website URL and Campaign name are required fields.e.g. http://example.org/offer.html Email-SummerDeals, PaidAds-SummerDeals (optional) Used to track the keyword, or sub-category (optional) Used to track the source of the campaign such as “newsletter” for your email marketing, “affiliate”, or the name of the website displaying your ads (requires our Marketing Campaigns Reporting plugin) (optional) Used to describe the marketing activity, for example “PPC” for a pay-per-click campaign, or “SEM” for a paid search ads, or “review” to track a product review on an affiliate site (requires our Marketing Campaigns Reporting plugin) (optional) This parameter is often used when you are testing multiple ads, and would include the name of each ad to see which was most effective for driving traffic.
