$year (aggregation)
Definition
The $year
expression has the followingoperator expression syntax:
- { $year: <dateExpression> }
Changed in version 3.6.
The argument must be a valid expression that resolves to one of the following:

- { date: <dateExpression>, timezone: <tzExpression> }
