Longhorn is managed in Kubernetes via a CSI Plugin. This allows for easy installation of the Longhorn plugin.

Longhorn leverages iSCSI, so extra configuration of the node may be required. This includes the installation of open-iscsi or iscsiadm, depending on the distribution.
