Conclusion

You’ve successfully completed The Swift Fundamentals. In Lesson 1 to 3, you’ve learned when, where, how, and why we use optionals along with every ! and ? that appear in the Swift Programming Language. Next, you’ve learned to replace a classic else-if statement using guard not only to provide readable and early exit, but also unwrap multiple optionals at once. In Lesson 8, you’ve learned the difference between value types and reference types and distinctive behavior from their instances. You’ve learned how to create modular and reusable code through extension and generics. Lastly, now you understand how to send and handle errors through a do-try block and throw.

However, I have to tell you that you’ve just started. As I said, you will come out programming in a different playing field when you follow my lead. Keep moving forward. If you have any questions, feel free to comment. See you at Chapter 2: Object Oriented Swift.
