Pre-Fill New File name and contents

If you’d like to open a new file with a given name and contents, you can do so with query parameters:

  1. GET /{{org}}/{{repo}}/_new/{{filepath}}
  2.     ?filename={{filename}}
  3.     &value={{content}}

For example:

  1. GET https://git.example.com/johndoe/bliss/_new/articles/
  2.     ?filename=hello-world.md
  3.     &value=Hello%2C%20World!
